Grandview is centrally located in the heart of downtown Chelan, only steps away from main street where many restaurants, shops and other businesses reside. Fortunately, it also happens to be only steps away from Lake Chelan’s annual Winterfest! We’ve highlighted a few activities happening during Winterfest that you won’t want to miss and that you can even walk to from your room.
Karaoke and Live Music
A newly purchased and remodeled restaurant, The Landing, is located directly across the Old Bridge, a block away from Grandview’s property. On January 14 & 15, discover karaoke from 7-10pm with no cover. The Landing also serves delicious cocktails and food to enjoy while you sing!
Head to the corner of Woodin and Emerson to find live music playing throughout downtown Chelan from 12-5pm on January 15th. Listen to local artists perform as you dip in and out of businesses positioned throughout main street!

Vendor’s Alley
Located in the parking stalls in front of the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce in downtown Chelan is Vendor’s Alley.
This is a family-friendly one-stop shop for local Chelan favorites, filled with booths from local businesses!
Polar Bear Plunge and Fireworks
One of the most iconic events during Winterfest is its annual Polar Bear Plunge! Designed for only the bravest of participants, the Polar Bear Plunge entails jumping into the icy cold waters of Lake Chelan at Don Morse Park. There will also be an enormous bonfire on the beach to keep you warm after!
The plunge and bonfire begin at 6pm and are immediately followed by a spectacular firework show at 6:30pm!
