We’re here to tell you that those magical Hallmark Christmas movies towns are real—come visit and experience the magic of a small town Christmas for yourself.

Play In the Snow

Come enjoy the snow in our winter wonderland! From sledding at Don Morse Park or Lakeside Park, to building snowmen at Riverwalk Park…you’ll want to experience the magic of the season in Lake Chelan this year.

These family friendly activities are fun for the whole family. Just pack a thermos of hot cocoa, throw on your snow pants, and you’re ready to roll!

Drink All the Wine

Winter is the perfect time to check out our local wineries and enjoy a fantastic glass of wine while cozy by the fire. The warmth and charm of our wineries, combined with a glass of red while sipping fireside is one dreams are made of.

If you’re looking for a tasting room within walking distance of the Grandview, we highly recommend Rocky Pond Winery and One Wine Inc.

Enjoy Winter Recreation

The Lake Chelan area offers plenty of ways to get outside and get active this winter. Less than 10 miles from Chelan, Echo Ridge Nordic Ski Area offers 25 miles of groomed and backcountry trails for snowshoers, as well as cross-country, single-track and skate skiers of all levels.

Also in this area is Echo Valley Ski & Tubing Area. With three rope tows, a poma lift, 6 lane tubing hill and lessons and rentals available for all ages and abilities, this quaint ski hill has a little something for everyone. The base area has a day lodge with a roaring fireplace to you to enjoy lunch by the fire and sip on some hot chocolate.

Experience Historic Downtown Christmas Magic

With downtown Chelan lavishly adorned in Christmas decorations, walking around during the holidays can really put you in the Christmas spirit. We highly recommend an evening walk to take in all the brightly lit décor.

Leaving Grandview, enjoy a scenic walk across the bridge and take in the twinkling lights of town as you mosey in for dinner or a drink. Some of our favorite spots to grab a bite are Local Myth Pizza, Stormy Mountain Brewing and Marcela’s Cocina Mexicana.
